This morning, it rained yet again. Jonathan and the group had a full day site visit to various parts of Dalian. He first went to the Dalian Modern Museum. The place was interesting, once again showing off their prideful developments.

After the museum, the bus continued driving around, unfortunately it was still raining and inconvenient for Jon to alight. Everyone stopped by a small beach where the wind was really strong, he just wanted to get back onto the bus, and it was his temporary hiding space.

Lunch was done at a restaurant with everyone else, a 10 course meal! Compared to the past few days, it was excellent food, filling and properly cooked. The rice was still sticky. Is that the local’s way of eating?

After lunch, he went again with his friends for shopping at the supermarket, once again to buy more food for the next day. It seemed to him, this was going to be his way of having free-time for the next 6 weeks to come.

"三san叶ye草cao", or Adidas in Chinese. Why? The well-known three strokes. Haha

Familiar sight!

Dinner was settled at a store in school, he had 炒chao饼bing, or fried
biscuit. It tasted weird, and until know he does not know what it was. At the store, the people seemed to know they were
the Singaporean students, they called the group “新xin加jia坡po的de”. He found it amusing and funny. Just before heading back to the student condominium, the temperature dropped again to a 6dgs, even the usual hot water became cold for bathing.
